Here at Providence Lodge, we are building towards becoming the leading independent provider of support for people with learning difficulties, Autism, and mental health conditions in the UK. We deliver unmatched quality accommodation and support across the country, and our dynamic service allows and motivates people to reach their goals equipped with bespoke care solutions. 

We empower individuals through our services, whether they need round the clock support or limited assistance. Our staff provide a person-centred approach to care, with the client, their needs, and emotions at the centre of what we do. 

Providence Lodge’s Leadership

At Providence Lodge, we benefit from our dynamic and experienced leadership. Our directors have cared for people with various mental health challenges for over twenty years. As a result, they are extremely passionate about the service they offer. Both our company directors are registered Mental Health Nurses and ensure equality, diversity, and inclusion take precedence in everything they do.

Ruby Pokua Adjepong - Founder and Director

Ruby is a hardworking, enthusiastic and flexible healthcare professional with nearly two decades post qualification experience in mental health nursing. Ruby prides themselves on their excellent problem-solving skills and is a dedicated team player who can work on their own initiative. A proven planner and deliverer of excellent results, Ruby is adept at consistently working to tight timeframes and deadlines. Ruby maintains experience through senior roles within the field of nursing, they developed and maintained communication with individuals and groups of patients, carers and staff. Ruby has developed their own knowledge and skills to support and contribute to the development of others and promotes, monitors and maintains the best health, safety and security in the work area. Ruby is committed to supporting people's equality, diversity and rights and contributes to promoting health and well-being and preventing adverse effects on health and well-being. Ruby possesses excellent interpersonal skills and has developed an excellent relationship with colleagues, service users and their families. Ruby always ensures they are easily approachable throughout their career and has developed a good rapport among service users and their patients and families.

Joseph Wilfred Baidoo - Founder and Director

Joseph is a hard-working and enthusiastic professional who prides themselves on their work ethic and flexibility. Joseph works with high levels of professional integrity and objectivity that they’ve gained through working in different professions and developing transferrable skills. Joseph prides themselves on their first-class analytical, design and problem-solving skills and is a dedicated team player who can also thrive in independent environments. A proven planner with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure, Joseph possesses excellent communication and observational skills. Furthermore, Joseph is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

Safety and fire audits are regularly conducted by health and safety experts to ensure our state-of-the-art accommodation remains safe. This ensures maximum safety for both staff and clients using our service.

Incident Management

Incident management is a crucial aspect of keeping our accommodation safe and secure. It allows us to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures. With a specialised incident management team, we can assess risk and its impact on the service we provide. Through their expert guidance and knowledge, we ensure our accommodation is secure and preventative to any negative happenings.

Compliance

Regulators and assurance staff regularly inspect Providence LodgeS services. With all our facilities meeting the national regulatory standards, Our Director of Compliance will monitor these services and assist us in achieving the best possible rates of compliance with regulatory standards.

Internal Inspection

We carry out internal inspections for sites at risk of non-compliance, with Compliance Inspectors conducting a complete analysis of the specific environment and monitoring it. They offer us solutions to make our facilities meet the specifications established by the law.

Compliance Inspector

The services we offer are regularly checked and analysed by Compliance Inspectors, who ensure all our facilities are in accordance with the national standards. In addition to this, they also offer their feedback and suggestions on how we can further improve our work and where we can make these improvements. This allows us to remain at the forefront of our sector.
